All faculty are welcome to attend! I hope many of you will consider attending. We have much to discuss and do.
We do not cast official votes during open GU-AAUP meetings, since these meetings are open to all faculty but only AAUP members can vote. Any official voting would need to be done during a closed meeting of only AAUP members, or through email to all AAUP members.
Starting in the 2023-2024 academic year and continuing in the future, GU-AAUP meetings will take place once every month on a Monday from 3:00 pm to 3:50 pm. The meetings will be scheduled on Mondays that do not overlap with UF or Senate meetings. This meeting schedule should make it easier for people to plan their teaching schedules around attending both AAUP and faculty governance meetings.
