AAUP Chapter Meetings will be held from 3:00 – 3:50 pm ET via Zoom on these Mondays. All faculty are welcome to attend.

Agendas: A link to the meeting agenda will be posted to the Gallaudet AAUP Facebook group and during meetings.

Voting: We cannot cast official votes during open AAUP chapter meetings, since these meetings are open to all faculty, but by our Bylaws, only AAUP members can vote. Any official voting needs to be done electronically or during a closed meeting restricted to only AAUP members.

Scheduling: Beginning with the 2023-2024 academic year, AAUP chapter meetings now take place monthly on Mondays from 3:00 pm to 3:50 pm, which is the same time slot that Faculty Governance uses. The meetings are scheduled for Mondays that do not overlap with either Faculty Senate or University Faculty meetings. This new and permanent meeting schedule was intended to make it easier for people to plan their teaching schedules around attending both AAUP and Faculty Governance meetings.
